Pay Rates
Apprentices will receive increases during the course of their apprenticeship based on the amount of work hours they successfully complete, successful school performance and craft certifications.
Apprentice wages are based upon a percentage of the Journeyworkers hourly wage rate and advancements are made during the four years of apprenticeship.
Current hourly pay rate for Journeyworkers = $32.00 per hour *plus benefits (rev. 12/02/2024)
*plus benefits - In addition to pay rate, Family Health Insurance and NEBF Retirement Benefits are paid for by the contractor and 5th year apprentices will also receive $3.20 per hours worked contribution to a Pension Benefit paid for by the contractor.

First 55% $17.60 hr. *plus benefits
Second 60% $19.20 hr. *plus benefits
Third 70% $22.40 hr. *plus benefits
Fourth 80% $25.60 hr. *plus benefits
